Duran Goes 5 For 5 In 13 3 Omaha Win At Memphis

Durán Goes 5-for-5 in 13-3 Omaha win at Memphis

Impressive Performance Leads to Victory

Storm Chasers shortstop Jeison Durán had an impressive performance at the plate and in the field Tuesday night, going 5-for-5 with two doubles and two RBIs in Omaha's 13-3 win over the Memphis Redbirds at AutoZone Park.

Durán's performance helped the Storm Chasers improve to 10-5 on the season, while the Redbirds fell to 8-7.

Durán's Offensive Outburst

Durán's offensive outburst began in the first inning with a single to left field. He followed that up with a double to right field in the third inning, driving in two runs.

Durán singled again in the fifth inning and doubled again in the seventh inning. He finished the game with a single in the ninth inning, giving him a perfect 5-for-5 performance at the plate.

Strong Defensive Play

In addition to his offensive performance, Durán also made several strong defensive plays at shortstop. He fielded five ground balls cleanly and made several nice plays on balls hit up the middle.

Durán's performance was a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing season for the Storm Chasers. The team is currently in last place in the Pacific Coast League's West Division, but Durán's performance is a sign that the team has some potential.
